To Order:
Terms: 50% deposit initiates an order. Balance is due prior to shipping. Rush orders should be pre-paid in full including shipping. A rush surcharge may apply. Balance invoices are sent out 4-6 weeks prior to order completion. Should you wish to be invoiced earlier, please state your request clearly on your purchase order. Payment is expected promptly on receipt of invoice. A $100/month storage fee per ordered item could be incurred for merchandise stored while we await a delayed balance payment.
Lampshades are NOT available through L&U.
Tabletops and seating cushions are sold separately, unless otherwise indicated, please inquire.
Production lead times for our handcrafted items can range from 12-16 weeks.

Wood Items: While most of our wood items are available in several varieties of wood, our craftsman has advised us that various kinds of wood may work better with specific pieces, please inquire before placing an order. Environmental conditions and the natural drying process can affect furniture made from solid wood. Cracks, splits and checks may occur in the wood as a result of this natural process. This should not affect the integrity of the piece and should not be looked upon as flaws, but rather the idiosyncratic natural beauty of solid wood. Wood prices may fluctuate.
Rush Projects: While we cannot guarantee an exact shipping date, we will pass along to our craftspeople any deadline date indicated on the purchase order and advise an estimated completion date on the confirmation. A rush surcharge may apply.
SHIPPING NOTES: Packing, Shipping, Handling and Crating (if applicable) charges will appear as FREIGHT by final invoice. Lyle and Umbach, Ltd. is NOT responsible for damages occurring once pieces have left our manufacturing facilities. Merchandise must be unboxed or uncrated and inspected at the time of delivery and discrepancies noted on the bill of lading. Damage claims must be reported within 24 hours TO THE CARRIER.
Our handcrafted designs are made to order. Most items can be made in custom sizes and finishes. Please inquire.
